Lauren Conrad

A few things you should know about me -- I love clothes, the beach, and Lauren Conrad! I was one of those high schoolers who had an unhealthy obsession with Laguna Beach and The Hills -- I still shed a tear when I think about them being over. When Lauren Conrad introduced her line for Kohls I was racing to the store! Her pieces are trendy yet so elegant and classy -- the ideal clothes for a teacher in my opinion. You will see me reference her pieces many time here on Compliments of Christine Marie and this skirt may be one of my favorite LC pieces. You'll see me pairing it with flats in the spring and boots in the fall. I love versatile pieces that can transition through seasons! Thanks LC ;)

Lauren Conrad Skirt -- $30.00, Kohls | White Tank -- $5.95, H&M | Jean Jacket -- $60.00, American Eagle | Coral Necklace -- $12.95, Franchescas. Franco Sarto Boots -- $99.99, Marshalls.

Do you have a favorite Lauren Conrad piece? I would love to know which one! I am lusting after a new sequin dress from her upcoming Winter line! I can't wait to get my hands on it! Here are a few staple pieces from her line I can picture myself wearing all winter! How many more days until pay day??
Sequin Dress-- I am OBSESSED! New Years dress-- check!

How cute are these? Polka Dot Leggings

I have quite a thing for polka dots this season ;)

Cobalt Blue Blouse -- a favorite fall color!

I am loving the leather and cloth contrast of these boots, these are on my 'Upcoming Purchases' list for sure!

A classic black pumps -- perfection!

OPI Russian Navy

I love dark shades for fall and OPI's Russian Navy is right up my alley! My nails seem to be breaking -- I've switched up my nail strengthener so that may be the culprit -- so I was a little nervous to wear such a dark color on my shorter nails. I have to say, I don't just like it -- I love it! In the bottle it appeared to be a dark plum purple but on the nails it comes across much more blue. It even appears a different shade on camera -- what a deceitful color but I was pleasantly surprised! I guess you'll have to go pick up a bottle of your own to see its true color ;) I would describe it as a dark navy blue with specs of plum purple -- gorgeous!

Leopard & Stripes

As Hurricane Sandy approaches we are getting some awful icky weather which makes me want to throw my hair in a ponytail and snuggle up in some sweats! If this hurricane is anything like the one that hit our area last year I will be out of power for quite a few days -- fingers crossed we have better luck this time -- so the boyfriend and I wanted to get out of the house before the real yucky stuff got here!

Leggings and a comfy sweater fit my mood perfectly! I paired it with a stripped tank -- which you can see in my last outfit post here -- and a leopard scarf to play off of the mixed patterns trend I can't get enough of. I completed the look with some boot socks and dark purple nail.

Khaki Sweater -- $24.95, Old Navy | Stripped Tank -- $19.95, Old Navy | Max Studio Leggings -- $12.95, Marshalls. | Leopard Scarf --$7.99, Ross. | Boot Socks -- $14.95, Urban Outfitters. | Franco Sarto Boots -- $99.99, Marshalls.

Sally Hansen #660 "Pat on the Black"

I hope everyone on the East Coast stays safe in the upcoming inclement weather! As always, don't forget to click the icons to the right to check out my twitter, instagram, and pinterest pages!

Navy and Green

I know I have mentioned it in other posts but, my goodness, has our weather had a mind of its own this season! We had another 80 degree day here which makes choosing a season and weather appropriate outfit quite difficult! Since my boyfriend gifted me with an anchor charm for my pandora last week I have rekindled my flame with all things nautical and had to break out the navy and white stripes. I paired this sequins top with Lauren Conrad green skinnies and my dark wash jean jacket. With a red lip and nude flat -- voila, nautical for fall!

Stripped Shirt -- $19.99, Old Navy. // Jean Jacket -- $60.00 American Eagle. // Green Jeans -- $30.00, Lauren Conrad. // Steve Madden Flats --$40.00. // Nails -- OPI Russian Navy. // Pandora Bracelet -- gift.

The best of Online shopping!

I have quite the love/ hate relationship with online shopping. I love that anything I want is right at my finger tips when I just don't have the time or energy to make it to the stores -- and I hate that anything I want is right at my finger tips! Makes it a little too easy to spend my hard earned money ;)

Now there are a ton of websites that specialize in discounted designer items -- and although there are some wonderful ones out there I tried to chose some with the most reasonable prices! I love sharing the online goodies I find with friends and family so it only seemed right to share some of my favorite sites with ya'll!

Don't forget to click the titles to bring you to each page!

Baublebar is an online jewelry boutique with some of the best statement pieces I have found! I own a ton of their pieces and the best part -- you earn points for each dollar you spend. Each point you earn is money off of your next purchase, a win-win if you ask me! The items are always changing and they are always adding new pieces so I check back quite often! Once you take a peek I sure you will be too!

Hautelook is known as a 'flash-sale' of designer clothes, shoes, make-up, and even furniture items. Just like Baublebar, there are constantly new sales and items on their site but on Hautelook they have a set time limit and go off sale once the time limit has expired. If you like this site and have a boyfriend you like to shop for also check out JackThreads -- a male version of Hautelook! With the holidays coming up you will save a lot of money shopping for that special man in your life ;)

Dailylook is great for those who see mannequins in stores and you want every piece they have styled together! Dailylook pairs an entire outfit with pieces they are selling --so if you see an outfit you like you can purchase each piece right from their site! Again, they are always changing so you can check back everyday!

It shocks me when I hear that some people have never browsed Etsy! It has become one of my favorite sites for jewelry and accessories -- you can find some of the most gorgeous hand knitted scarfs. Want anything personalized or monogrammed -- Etsy's your place!

The next two websites are not sites where you can browse and purchase single items but they are definitely on my list of favorite sites and I think you will soon find out why!

I gave a brief description of Birchbox in my Zoya and Birchbox post so check that out to read more about it!

Glossybox is very similar to Birchbox, it is a monthly subscription however it costs just a bit more -- $21 a month compared to the $10 a month Birchbox costs. I was subscripted to Birchbox for quite a while and was planning to switch over to Glossybox just to switch it up! I have not yet subscribed -- I am going to try to use up all my goodies I received from Birchbox first. I have heard rave reviews from numerous beauty gurus on youtube but since I have not yet received a Glossybox and if you have please leave a comment below letting me know what you think!

Interested in seeing a Glossybox review? Check out BentleyBlonde's video! If you haven't yet checked out her other videos take a look -- I know you'll love her! I actually went to high school with Wendy and love to support my fellow Raider ;)

If you have a go-to site for all your favorite goodies I would love to hear about it! I am always searching new and fun sites to add to my list!

3 ways to jazz up that Fall Little black dress

Every woman owns that signature little black dress, it's a Fashion 101 essential. I found this long sleeve little black dress at H&M a few weeks back and immediately thought of numerous ways I could wear it. I've paired my LBD with different accessories to come up with 3 very different looks. Hope this leaves you feeling inspired!

Look 1
I fell in love with fur vests last winter and I am so excited to see them in stores again this fall. I paired my LBD with my fur vest and some knee high boots with tights. Adding my new MAC Pop Mode lipgloss and it's a perfect look for a night downtown!

LBD -- $14.95, H&M. // Fur Vest --$19.99, Marhsalls. // Knee High Tights --$10.00, pack of 6 at Kohls. Black Boots --$19.99, Ross last winter. // Mac Pop Mode -- $15.00.

 Look 2
Another look I am excited to see back this year -- ankle booties! I wore this outfit on my Anniversary to a cozy and romantic little restaurant -- it fit the occasion perfectly.

 LBD -- $14.95, H&M. // Khaki Blazer -- $29.99, Forever 21. // Necklace --$24.00, Francesca's. // Ankle Booties-- $19.99, Ross last winter.

 Look 3
'Merica! I have been drooling over this Free People American Flag scarf for about a year now so I finally decided to splurge and get the beauty! For a bit of a biker inspired look I paired it with my Rampage zip up jacket and my Franco Sarto boots you all have seen time and time again. My trusty aviators tied the whole look together if you ask me ;)

 LBD-- $14.95, H&M. // Free People Scarf -- $38.00. // Rampage Jacket -- $19.99, Marshalls. //Franco Sarto Boots -- $99.99. // Aviators --$14.99, Boutique in Huntington Beach, CA.

How do you pair your LBDs? I've love to hear from you!
