New Years Sequins

The Christmas Hangover. That feeling you get once Christmas has passed and your on a high from the family, girlfriends, and much needed lazy days yet have a headache at the thought of traveling back home, the clean up required, and knowing you have to wait a whole year to enjoy it all again. After a week home, I have a series Christmas Hangover.

After an amazing week home, the honey and I caught a flight back to California after yet another tearful goodbye at the airport. Our trips home are few and far between so it never fails tears begin to flow when the goodbye hugs begin with our families. To stop the tears we began to look forward -- think about all the funs things we were going to do once we touched down in California. First order of business, did we want Mexican food or In-n-Out? See how easy it is to cheer me up? Just mention a good meal! The next convo included New Years Eve. We are that couple who don't quite think about our NYE plans until Christmas has passed which means we have exactly one week to scramble and find something worthy of ringing in a new year.

Now that we are back home, it means unpacking, organizing our new gifts and purchases, runs to the store for returns and somehow packing up our Christmas goodies while finalizing our plans and getting ready for a work week. So as you can imagine, this week is anything but relaxing. {Give me an Amen if your in the same boat ladies!} Check out my instagram over at @xochristinemarie to see what I will be wearing this NYE but in the meantime take a peak at 3 of my favorite NYE looks for this year! What are you sure to find? Sequins, sequins, and more sequins! Don't forget about my favorite Holiday look with this adorable Pop the Champagne Tee! Because no matter what you are doing this NYE we all know a good bottle of Champs will be involved!
